Dr. Albright was named in "Cincinnati Top 300 Physicians in Neurology"
/Cancer PR News/ - Cincinnati, OH, July 19, 2008, Robert E. Albright, Jr., Medical Doctor at Oncology Hematology Care, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of oncology.
Named in "Cincinnati Top 300 Physicians in Neurology," Dr. Albright specializes in neuro-oncology and brain tumor treatment. He brings to Oncology Hematology Care 23 years of professional experience, which include previous stints with the E.K. Hatton Research Institute as Director of the Division of Neuro-Oncology, with the Blood Brain Barrier Disruption Consortium, and with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center as Adjunct Professor of the Department of Neurology, as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine of the Department of Neurosurgery, and as Co-principal Investigator for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group of Barrett Center. Dr. Albright is a Licensed Physician in the states of North Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He attributes his success to the support he receives from his colleagues.
Dr. Albright earned his MD from Penn State College of Medicine in 1979 and his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from West Virginia University, from which he graduated magna cum laude in 1974. His professional affiliations include the Society for Neuro-Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the Ohio Medical Association, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. In the course of his career, he has published book chapters, reviews, and original investigations, abstracts, and research in peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his practice, Dr. Albright shares his knowledge through various educational activities before attending physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students, which include the Multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Management Conference, the Neuropathology Case Review Conference, and the Skull Base Conference.
