Jeffrey R. Costa Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
Mr. Costa seeks to create awareness of cholangiocarcinoma and helps those who are suffering from the disease.
DARTMOUTH, MA, November 1, 2008 /Cancer PR News/ -- Jeffrey R. Costa, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Susan M. Costa Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of non-profit management.
A residential finish carpenter and architectural designer, Mr. Costa established the organization in memory of his wife Susan, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma and died in January 2008. He created this foundation with the support of his wife's two doctors Sanjay Jain, MD, Ph.D. and David Portnoy, MD of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Clinic. Through the organization, Mr. Costa seeks to create awareness of cholangiocarcinoma and helps those who are suffering from the disease. He believes that research, awareness and early detection will increase the survival rate, and he feels that he has already made a difference in his community.
Mr. Costa is currently employed as a sales agent with Savage Advertising Solutions and supports The Jimmy Fund.
